I need some advice. I don't have a garage, so the car will be under a car cover in the back yard. I'm going to change the oil right before I park it. Should I pull the battery? Or should I get a trickle charger and hook it to the battery in the car for the winter? Am I better to run it a little every few weeks, or should I not start it at all? What other things should I do? Any tips would be appreciated. Posted by: bullitt5177 Yep, you should yank the battery and trickle charge it every once in a while while it's warm. Don't start the car at all. Fill up your tank and put some Sta-Bil in it. That's all I did last year and she fired up first try. Posted by: Mustang5L5 Don't start it. It's better to let it sit if it's not gonna be brought up to proper temp each time you start it and run for a while. Overfill the tires to the max rating on the sidewall, just remember to air them down in the spring. Fill the fuel tank and add stabilizer mothballs and steel wool in a sock and stuff them into the tailpipes Dissicant Salt in the interior Posted by: bullitt5177 Dryer sheets work for the interior too, and they smell better. Posted by: bullitt5177 I'd yank it. The computer will keep sucking it down all winter.
