Ticket Surcharges for Fort Worth

the city of fort worth started recently a point program for people who get tickets. if u get 6 points or more u will get charged a surcharge that has to be paid before u can renew ur license. if ur thinking ok no prob i just wont get any tickets well ur out of luck if u got any tickets all the way up to September of last year. thats right they just started this plan and it goes all the way back to last year. u get roughly 2 points per ticket and can get 3 points for a high speeding ticket. it doesnt matter if u pay off the ticket or not once u hit six points ur get hit with a surcharge. the surcharge can be anywhere from a couple of hundred dollars to a few thousand. this is all do to the fact that there is about 100 million dollars of unpaid tickets out there, and by god they want there damn money. so if ur gonna speed or anything like that keep an eye out for the po-po
