My next plan as far as HP went was to do the following C&L 76mm MAS, FR 30lbs/hr injectors and upgraded fuel pump about 255lbph pump by BBK, Edelbrock performer II upper and lower intake, and finally the Vortec 5 PSI supercharger. So with all that said lookin for a cuple things here: 1. Can i pass SMOG (i live in California FYI) 2. Is this safe to run without damaging vehicle components 3. How much RWHP would you estimate my car at with these mods current and new. Thank you so much for your time havent had a lot of time to look around and read many posts but the site looks great and I deffinately will. Looking forward to your input guys. Jarrod Posted by: Aussie XAXB If the SC kit has a CARB number then you should be emmissions legal. If it doesn't have a CARB number then forget about it. Don't go above 6 pounds of boost and you should be safe with the engine components. With only supercharging and no cam or head change I would expect about a 25 - 35% boost in peak power. Steve Posted by: 8URVETT This car is my daily driver so i dont want it to be to high maintence, and it must pass SMOG, but if this is not fast enough for me i was thinkin about doin heads and cam shuld i just do those first... well what i mean is, is it to late or a total pain in the ass to do the heads and cam after. Or what would you recommend doin first?? thanks so much for your input. Jarrod Posted by: speedytang Did you pass smog with that chip because most cars won't pass with a chip without even seeing the programming. Chips add timing and fuel and in CA usually they fail if they show a programming device piggybacking the main computer. Posted by: 8URVETT Quote:
