Posted by: badass98svt STEP 1: Remove the entire dashboard! I did one on a Lincoln Mark VII before. With all the electronics in the damn car, it really sucked! Posted by: 87Stallion I put one in with my dad and we put a steering rack in it in 4 hours Posted by: Mustang5L5 I've done one. It's not bad. Just make sure you use an OEM Ford heater core otherwise with a parts store core you'll be doing it again in a year or two. It took me two hours to yank the dash out. It's not tough, just a lot of screws to take out. The console needs to come out as well. Posted by: speedytang Take your time because everything you Bend, Break or Twist will need fixed when putting the dash back in or nothing will align backup. Plan on taking two days just so your not in a hurry to finish. Plan on 8 hours to do it your first time and if you have a Video Recorder set it up with a tripod if you think you will forget something. I think my next remove-install I am going to record and edit as a complete repair and sell it. Posted by: Prafopi I know that accessing to a car's heater core can be very time-consuming... With my very busy work I'd rather ask help for a mechanic though I a automotive experience too... It was, when I had install my brother's truck bed bike rack... It was quite an experience and my installation made his truck look great...
