GeigerCars Ford Mustang GT 520

First, GeigerCars took the stock displacement 3-valve 4.6 liter V8 and increased its displacement to 5.2 liters, machined the cylinder heads, installed a sport camshaft, and reinforced the entire valve train. Topping off this sundae of speed, is the cherry gem of a belt-driven supercharger coupled to a generously sized intercooler. Underneath, a complete stainless-steel high performance exhaust system follows up a high flow exhaust manifold as well to keep the redesigned powerplant breathing easier. All of these updates allow the GT 520 to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in about four seconds.

Yet another notable modification applied is the sporty aerodynamic enhancement kit that not only provides function, but a form that is quite easy on the eyes as well. An updated front fascia with a large air dam supplies fresh cool air to all the coolers, lateral openings are contoured to maximize brake cooling, and an integrated front spoiler helps to reduce front end lift at speed. Smoothed rocker panels help round out the overall appearance, while some gorgeous chrome wheels add a fitting finishing touch.

Beneath the fantastic framework lies a specially tuned, height-adjustable GeigerCars coil-over suspension. Stiffer damper settings and a lowered ride height (50 millimeters) make the Ford Mustang coupe even more aggressive in the handling department. Add in some sport sway bars to minimize body roll in fast corners and to make turn-in more precise, and the car handles quite well when tasked.

Damn that sure is interesting and looking good, not practical where I live due to not enough ground clearance. Too many pavement buckles and dead deer or others on the road, just can't miss them when moving at speed in the dark. Price? I guess if I have to ask, I can't afford it? Still amazed what kind of power can come out of these motors.

That is probably one of my favorite 2005 Ford Mustangs! I'm not sure of a price... has anyone heard anything?

Sounds like the Mustangs are imported to Europe where the modifications are made. List price for the V-6 conversion is 29,900 Euro's, no mention of what the GT goes for.

Bleh.
It's too busy looking.
Lose the park bench on the trunk, the stripes, the fake gas cap on the trunk, and that ugly rear bumper.
However I love the hood and front bumper. As mentioned above, it looks a tad too low to be practiacl around town

I found that article interesting... so I'll post it for others to read:

geigercars.de imports and customizes the new Mustang

Everbody's talking about the new Ford Mustang.

Geigercars.de is importing the latest edition of the American sportscar legend to Europe and offers an extensive tuning program for the coupe.

Extra power via supercharger is the geigercars.de motto for the tune-up of the V8 engine of the Mustang GT. The compressor helps the 4.6 litre engine to achieve a power increase from standard 300 hp / 220 kW to about 400 hp / 294 kW. Maximum torque is increased to about 550 Nm. The engine conversion reduces the acceleration time from 0 - 100 km/h to about 4.7 seconds, maximum speed is 260 km/h plus.

The geigercars.de supercharger kit for the Ford Mustang GT will be available from spring 2005 when the development is finished.

A cat-back sport exhaust system is already available for a retail price of 1,400 Euros. The exhaust system doesn't only deliver a more exciting engine sound but also a more spectacular look due to its two large chromed exhaust tips.

The look of the Mustang can be further upgraded with geigercars.de wheel/tire combinations in 19- and 20-inch diameter. The most exclusive set of wheels with tires contains chromed multi-piece five spoke wheels of the dimensions 9Jx20 front and 10Jx20 on the rear axle. The maximum tire sizes are 255/35 ZR 20 on the front axle and 285/30 ZR 20 rear. The geigercars.de 20-inch set of wheels with tires is offered for a retail price of 8,376 Euros.

Specially set up for the extreme low profile tires are the geigercars.de suspension kits. The geigercars.de springs are offered in matching versions for the V6 and V8 models and lower the Mustang by about 35 millimeters. Due to the lower center of gravity the handling becomes even more sporty. In addition geigercars.de sport anti roll bars can be installed. They minimize the side tilt at fast cornering and make the steering response even more precisely.

Exclusive interior trims in fine leather tastefully round out the geigercars.de customizing program for the new Ford Mustang.
geigercars.de offers the American coupe starting from 29,900 Euros for the V6 version.
