I was playing around with photoshop and I kind of liked the something that I had came up with. I liked the ideal of deleting some of the white on the site and adding a rich dark blue to the outer edges. Does anyone like the blue instead of the white? This would take place on the main site as well as on the forums. The blue example is below.

Another Ideal that I had come up with is to let users select a color on the forum (white, blue, purlple, red, yellow, etc) A purple example is below.

What do you guys think about these two ideals?

A lot of forums allow you to choose your own colors. I like the blue one.

I like the blue one too.. I am glad you used that one.. the purple didn't go with that site. Nice Job!

Looks good. I like having the option of colors, but you should see if you can make them Mustang colors (I know, that'd be rediculously difficult). While on topic, what's the ETA on the "Car:" under the avatar?

An awesome Ideal!! The default color will be this blue I have up right now... then all the sub colors that users can change to and from will be mustang colors and mustangs names such as "Screeming Yellow, Bullitt Green, etc" Anyone else know some popular colors?

I actually started that CAR under the avatar ideal this morning... I had to stop and pursue the vision I had with these colors to see how it would look. I'll get back on that as soon as I'm done transfering the rest of the site over to the blue

The blue is the new default color. However... when everything is completed... each user will be able to choose their own color depending on what they like

Cool Rick. Site looks good indeed. I can list off tons of Stang colors. Competition Orange, Ebony, Opel White, Screaming Yellow, Dark Highland Green (which is Bullitt green

), Performance Red, Sonic Blue, Electric Green, so on and so forth.

Having trouble finding Mustang colors... The colors I'm finding like the comp orange and screaming yellow are really to bright and look out of place.

According to that link:
Black = fastest towards the sun
Mystic = fastest away form the sun
White = fastest parallel to sun

Sorry but your red just can't compete.

The colors are going to have to wait just a little while... we have a much bigger project for Muscle-Mustangs that needs our attention right away

I'm not going to be able to do the different colors until after the first of the year sometime... I have to finish up some stuff in the store first
