This has been suggested but is this true? Have a killer vibe at about 3500 rpm, and had my driveshaft retubed and balanced. Posted by: Mustang5L5 Nope, both balancers are the same. You used a 50 oz flywheel correct? If it's not the driveshaft, it's gotta be the trans. Most vibes are from a bad tailshaft bushing causing the yoke to wobble Posted by: Aussie XAXB Agreed with Mustang5L5, and also I imagine you used new U-joints when reassembling? Steve Posted by: badass98svt Yes, how about the U joints? Everything is tight, right? Posted by: Matt Rise Check to make sure the driveshaft to pinion flange bolts are tight. You should always use some kind of loctite on them, either blue or red. Personally we use red. Seen it happen many times when someone takes out the D/S, then reinstalls it and the bolts fall out....not good.
