Stalker Rear Bumper

I love the way the Cervinis Stalker rear bumper looks... though I've only seen it in person one time. My bumper is fiberglas and it has a few defects so I'm hoping to find another bumper with a more muscular look than an import look. This is the only one that fits low enough with my ground effects from a company that I trust. I also read that it has an air free design that prevents wind drag (what do you guys think abou this?):

"The Stalker Rear Bumper features a free air design where the bumper tucks tightly to the gas tank, preventing wind drag. Cervini's was the first to introduce this design to the market. The Stalker Rear Bumper bolts to factory locations and includes exhaust tips. The exhaust must be modified to install the new exhaust tips."

Does it say Stalker instead of Mustang on it? I like the design, I just don't like the idea of driving around with Stalker on the back of my car.

Their website says it comes with "Stalker" embossed into the bumper, but you could fill it and paint it:

Edit: Forgot that Ricks car isn't a 99-04. It's only the 99-04 version that comes embossed, the 94-98 version looks like it's not:

To be honest, best 94-98 rear bumper is the Saleen bumper in my opinion, especially with Saleen-style exhaust tips. If i had a 94-98 i would have that bumper.

It's blank by the way, doesn't say Saleen on it like the 99+

I'm a fan of the Saleen also. I even had the Saleen on my old 97 GT.
As far as the Stalker bumper goes, I never thought the square exhaust tips looked all that great with our body style.

I would go Saleen... however it would look a little funny since my sides and front sit so low to the ground. The saleen bumper sits just above the stock bumper I believe. I actually saw this in person and loved it. It does have square exhaust tips, however they are back in the bumper a little and you can't really see them unless you have a close up head on view.

I still say Saleen. That bumper just doesn't look right, IMO

I think I'll hold off on getting me a new bumper just for now and focus on my engine this winter. I'm not planning on spending much... and that Cervinis Stalker bumper would probably cost $900-$1000 installed and painted.

I will next year for sure! Basic bolt ons have to come first though.

The 3.8 is just 1 underdrive pulley, correct? Or is it a whole kit?
What are your current performance modifications?

I think BBK Performance makes a 2 set kit. My current performance modifications are: Dual Flowmaster Exhaust, BBK Cold Air Intake, and Ford Racing Spark Plug Wires. I changed my limmit to not exceed the $500 range.

Things I do plan on purchasing for sure include:
BBK Chrome strut tower brace - One christmas gift (Not included in the $500 budget!)

I need parts that won't only enhance performance a little, but will also enhance the looks of the engine compartment so that I can have a little more pick up and go and win a few more car shows.

Get UD pulleys. Paint them white to match under the hood and throw a high temp. cleat cote over them. That'll enhance under the hood a little.
Wjat if you had your upper/lower intake polished? That should give a few extra HP/TQ

What about that piece that all 6 spark plug wire plugs into? Do you know what that is called? Mine is looking very poor and some guy at a show said that I should purchase one so that I can get a little better spark and it'll also look nicer than the one I currently have.

Posted by: badass98svt

It's called a coil pack. The stock packs are by far the most reliable. The MSD packs have had many spark issues, from what I've read.
I'd stay with the stocker if I were you.

Maybe your correct... I think I'll just take mine off and clean it up this winter! I'm also getting those coolflex upper and lower hoses in chrome to help dress up the engine!

Posted by: Rick Sample

So my current modifications:
  • Polished BBK Cold Air Intake
  • Blue Ford Racing Spark Plug Wires
  • Polished UPR Radiator cover
  • Polished Radiator Cap
List so far this winter:
  • Polished BBK Strut Tower Brace
  • Polished Coolflex Upper Radiator Hose
  • Polished Coolflex Lower Radiator Hose

Well we now carry the full line of Cervini's Products!! From hoods to bumpers, body-kits, to ram air kits and more! I added in about 20-25 Cervinis hoods last night and this morning. I have a few more hoods left them I'll move onto the spoilers, then the bumpers!!!!
