This is a little closer the I feel comfortable having it. Has anyone ever run into this problem before and if so what did you do or would you recommend to do to fix it. Or if I were to just leave it alone what are the chances of it doing damage to the tire. Thanks in advance! Posted by: TorchRedSVT a quick easy fix would be to get some wheels spacers, they would provide you with some more clearance. I have 275's in the rear and i have alot of rear clearance. I know some of the guys here have 315's and no problems Posted by: jasonc84 i think i need wheel spacers i proly have less than 1/2 inch from my exhuast pipe and my tires. I have 275s which ive heard is about as wide as you can go on a fox. Posted by: Xerxeese Quote:
Posted by: bullitt5177 I'm running 17" 315s on the Bullitt with no rubs (or Bubb Rubbs ). I have an SLP catback though, so they may have different bends.

whoooooo whoooooooooooooo! Posted by: badass98svt Pretty much, if the exhaust isn't touching the tire, it's not going to. Inspect the sidewall and exhaust pipe to see if you see any signs of wear marks. I have 295/35 18s and the pipe is pretty damn close, but no rubbing at all. Posted by: Mustang5L5 1/2" seems like enough to me. Just see if you notice rubs on the tailpipes Posted by: bullitt5177 Just checked mine. Mine's about the same distance from my exhaust, and I've had no problems. Posted by: jasonc84 i think mine has rubbed, i noticed right after i bought the car that their are shiny spots on the exhuast where the tire would rub if it hit. Should proly adress that problem when i get the car back.
