The only work needed is assembly (mostly done already) and installation.

With power adder I should be at around 400 hp :lrush:

somewhere in the 250 hp range NA

BUT

Once I port the heads, and go with a cam thats designed for power adder. Hell, I may lower compression and go forged internals...

My goal is over 400 and still be streetable..

Suprises will happen hehehe

My Lic plate says it all "GOT_V6"

Update:
My taxes are paying for some Stage 3 heads. AKA Fully ported, larger intake/exhaust valves and stronger valve springs.
Just need some rockers (might just use stock for now)

I also have an upper intake from a Windstar which flows SOOO much better than a stock mustang upper. Its comparable (so I'm told) to a ported upper.

3000 stall converter to go with the tranny.

If all goes well (big if) The heads and intakes as well as the cam that is in the 4.3 will be going into my 3.8 early this spring.

I will possibly need bigger injectors and a bigger TB, but I may have that covered.

The 4.3 (which is currently bored .030 over) will be getting bored .050 and receiving forged internals hopefully by next spring. Then its a matter of what kind of power adder I want. Im still thinking SC over Turbo.

I will get some pictures of some of these pieces soon :-)

Very cool, def not your average mustang build!

One question though...why the Hypereutectic pistons??!! Are they diff from any other Hype pistons?? I know they do not hold under boost is why I ask.

They came with the motor. I got a killer deal on the motor trans combo (I got both for the price of the tranny, basically)

I wont be keeping those, I will be going forged pistons/rods before boosting :-)

let us know how it goes!

what kind of power you expectng?

The only power expectation I have is "more than I've got now"

This way, I'm not dissapointed. I could say 250 at the wheels, but who knows. There's alot of changes going on at once, and then there is my exhaust (still stock till I pick up headers) that will be restrictive.

So we shall see :-)

BTW, didnt you trade your stang in ? I only ask, because you still have it for sale in your sig :-)

And do you have any parts left from it hehhee

Posted by: kissajew86

yeah i sold it, need to change my sig, i have all kinds of part left over lotsa stock parts, a steeda short shifter, some billit interior parts, stock heads, stock valve springs, and some stereo stuff.....just collecting dust....

If you decide you want to unload some of the 4.2 stuff, LMK!

I might be interested in the pistons. I'm waiting on the tax money as well.

Joe

Well, I will part with the pistons/rods(for a bores .030 over setup)
The heads (splitport, zero miles on rebuild ,specs up top) and the powder coated upper.

I am keeping the crank (you can get one new for fairly cheap money)
and the lower intake (IMRC-less variety)

Let me know what you want and I will research what a good price will be.

PM me :-)
