Hubby go a Xcaliber programable chip put in the Lightning yesterday.

Here are the dyno numbers:

Stock: 348.35 HP/413.32 ft-lbs torque

Chipped: 367.90 HP/433.26 ft-lbs torque

I tried to scan the dyno sheet but the stupid scanner isn't wanting to cooperate with me. I'll try again later.

my first mods were this past week:
New Alpine Head Unit
4 Infinity 6x8 Speakers
Factory tech Valve Body
Ford 4x4 trans. pan
fresh Mobil 1 5w 20 synthetic w/ K&N gold filter

Lets see some more pics of the L!!!
Looks like the chip made a nice difference!
I strongly rec. the FTVB for the trans!

So did you do anymore modding to the Lightning?

Posted by: ExBamaGal

Not yet. We do have a new lower pulley for it but haven't put it on yet.

Posted by: Rick Sample

That's cool... are you planning on doing anything to it in the future?

Posted by: ExBamaGal

Hubby has lots of plans for it but I don't know how much he'll actually do. You know how it is to dream about doing something amazing to a vehicle but not have the money to do it lol
