Dumb question time!

Are they the same thing for cars?

Auburn vs Ford Racing parts?

EDIT:

I want to apologize for all of the questions. I originally drove Offroad trucks and some of the terms and language is different.

I also want to thank every one for your help!!

Yes diffrent name for the same thin, i belive chevy calls theirs one, and ford calls theres the other name, forget which one is which

Does auburn make a 7.5" posi?

GM - Posi-Traction

Ford - Traction-lock

Mopar - Sure-Grip

All the same thing. Auburn uses the Posi term. I guess they wanted to only pick one. I put an Auburn Posi unit in my wife's 8". So far it is great. No noise and excellent performance.
