(examples . BBK, Dynomax, Edelbrock, Hooker ....) hook me up wit some good shit. thanks Posted by: capri_boy i had real good luck with my heddman shorties, eaisy to install and no leaks. I tried flowtech long tubes and i did not like them at all. you have toseperate the primarys from the collector and cut the flange to get them to fit (and it is still a pita) it did not seem like a well engineerd part. I ended up sending them back Posted by: Mustang5L5 On a stock or near-stock Mustang, you won't really notice a thing in terms of HP and sound. Do you want shorties or long tubes?? For shorties, only use the FMS ceramic coated headers. They are expensive but fit the best and the finish lasts. I've installed dozens of brands of shorty headers and these are the best. Posted by: Aussie XAXB First you need to learn something about the physics of header design. It's not just long or short and this brand or that brand. There is primary tube diameter, length of primaries, equal length primaries, number of and how drastic the bends are from one manufacturer to another, Tri-Y header design, and of course which attributes you actually need based on the build of your engine and how you drive the car. Before you drove your car you had to know how it worked (understand the clutch, when and how to use it, how the car brakes when you push on the pedal, how fast the steering reponds, how to approach curves and turns and when to brake and when to give it gas). Likewise you have to know something about headers to choose the best ones for your application. It's not like picking the best TV. Steve Posted by: 81maroonhatch mac long tubes or shortties sound great and cheap Posted by: Aussie XAXB See what I mean?
