hi im new n i just wanna know a few thing... i got a 88 5.0 speed density convert to maf ... intake port with 70 throttle and exhaust so bone stock... i have to change my head for stock head and want to know what's the best... i didnt have lot of $$$ so what's your suggestion... im thinking to replace the cam in the same time but which... or do... not a port n polish but the other ( sorry im french ) `planne` the head so i wanna know the clearance between valve n piston and what's the best.... gab

Well, 70mm is a tad too big for a near stock Mustang.

How much money are you looking to spend? A good cheap head is the GT-40P head as it's about $450ish new and you can find used examples off Explorers fir 200 or so.

A cam would also help wake the car up. An E303 or B303 cam works well.

There are other mods you can/should do before heads though. Change the rear gear to 3.73's and you'll notice a HUGE difference

thks .. my heads are death ...crack.. so i fund a pair for 100 box then i already got few bolt on like 3.55 rear end, electric fan, no more somg pump ...n whats should be better between e303, b303 or maximun plan heads for more combression ...and whats the clearance if anybody know ... thks
