Nitrous people in here

I have a 95 cobra I want to install nitrous on. I want to buy the Zex wet nitrous kit cca-82034, zex tuning kit cca-82001 and a zex remote bottle opener cca-82009. All the part #'s are from the summit racing website. Would I be able to install this myself as I have a good assortment of tools? Is there anything I should watch out for while installing the kit? Should I adjust timing and put "colder" plugs or should I just take it to a shop and get it tuned? Anybody recommend a place to get the car tuned at? I live in New Bedford, Mass.

If you question being able to install the kit beyond just following the instructions then you should leave it to someone else. In your post you already seem to lack confidence in yourself, or else you would not be asking these questions.

Hey, we can't all know how to install everything. Know when to punt.
I let a buddy build my rear axle for me. There is some voodoo in the gear lash.

I'd say go with the NX wet kit as it has gotten much better reviews , customer service and products. Also get a genx 1 or 2 upgrade, and an msd window switch and you should be golden. Run your plugs a step colder and turn the timing back and run 93 just to be safe if you don't already. Altogether a kit will cost you about $900 for everything to run it safely and properly, and if you value your motor don't be cheap with something like this. Its better to spend a few extra hundred on the right parts than a few thousand on a new motor.

I used the zex kit for a cuple of years never had a problem just got tired of filling the bottle 2or3 times a week got expensive but

Wet kits tend to be the most affordable due to less complexity of parts, but you better trust the installation to someone highly capable.
