I always feel foolish asking but oh wells. My girlfriend just bought me the shorty antenna for my 2000 Mustang GT, however, I'm kinda perplexed on how to remove the old Antenna from my car. It doesn't just turn off like my other car did so I'm not sure if I need pliers or what.

well if you cant unscrew it by hand, try the pliers.

Yea, they just screw in and out, if it really wont come loose try a squirt of pb blaster, just try not to get it on your finish.

Hmm. Alright, thanks guys. I seriously put some muscle into it but nothing budged. I'll get an update tomorrow.

Heh, I felt like the biggest dumbass ever lol. Like, changing an antenna has to be the easiest mod in the history of modifications.

same here..when i went to remove my antenna to trim it down...

I used pliers over a piece of cloth..so I wouldnt strip the black paint off of it

worked like a charm
