yellow headlights

my headlights in my 94 5.0 gt are yellow i think its oxidation but wuz wonderin if u had to replace the whole headlight, or just the lense.

If you have a buffer and some compound, you can buff it out most of the time. They'll look like new. Otherwise you can replace the lense most of the time.

Flitz metal polish and an old tshirt, thats all you need.

Mother's mag wheel polish works great with a buffer.

You can try buffing, or you can just buy some new ones. 94-98 cobra headlights would look great

I just got my second set of new headlamps and clear corners off ebay, hope to mount em up soon, compared to the 10 year old slightly yellowed oems they are beautiful.

They were $110 shipped, think I paid the same for the ones for the gt as well three years ago. All I do is sit on the internet all night after work and try to find the cheapest pirce on certain parts I need for the cars. Its sad really. If you all know whats good for you don't move to vermont, I think I'd have more fun in jail than I do living here.

i tried flitz and it didnt do anything so i think ill just buy new ones

Did you rub hard enough? I did 4 sets of headlamps on different vehicles with it and they all came out looking new.

i used a orbital buffer. so it should have worked.

As far as my stock gt headlamps went, my first mod to that car was new cobra replicas off ebay.

Just polish them.
Put a pice of cloth and that does the trick
