stablizer shock HELP!!!!!

OK here is goes....I just got some new 17inch cobra r wheels and tires.....and last night i was testing out the handling on them...and let me tell you what is was pretty damn good....But anyways when i pull her into the garage this morning i notice a fluid dripping from the rear tire...I take a look and my stablizer shock is draining...DAmn it.....Anyways i got a 91 gt and i was wondering how much one shock is???? and the biggest question is it safe to be riding around with it broke...because there is still the main shock...just let me no if its safe thanks guys or how long can i put this problem on the back burner....any help would be awsome

It's called a quad shock.

It reduced wheelhop but a lot of guys remove them. I personally would keep it on. You can get a new one from any parts store. They list them in the computer as "Steering dampener". I beleive Gabriel makes one at $25

well thanks guys.....Why do people take them off....bigger tires...i though if you took them off you had to renfouce them??? so im safe with how it is now???

bdass, who makes a reasonably priced setup? that koni shiz is definitely a little on the high side. and Gabriel's are TOO cheap. I looked on ebay but can't find shlt. lol

Holy shit!!!

The Gabriel ones sold through AZ are actually pretty decent. I'd just stick with those. I need a new pair on my Fox actually. Maybe i'll go get a pair
