i am looking for some dynamat to improve the way my speakers and i have found some dynamat http://www.uscaraudio.com/cgi-bin/us...atalogno=10455 at www.uscaraudio.com and i am wondering if they have a good price for dynamat? should i get dynamat at all? does it really help?

Dynamat is a sound deadener. It is to insulate the interior from outside sounds or vibration, particularly those caused by road noise, wind, or other sources of noise. If you want an improvement to your speakers this is not it. If you want to eliminate exterior sound from invading the cabin it is a great product.

I think it can be used to prevent rattling of your trunk and liscence plate if you are running some subs in your trunk. Like Steve said it won't make your speakers work better, but may clear up some vibrations that could make it sounds cleaner I guess.

Crutchfield has been selling this stuff for years. You can use it -- as you said, to reduce vibration if you have big-ass subs, but traditionally (old school) it and it's predecessors were used to dampen vibration inside of door panels and trunks in order to "tighten up" the speakers.
