4cyl to v8

first has anyone done this? My problem is insurance my company will not do it caus it was a 4cyl,they said it is too much of a jump to an 8 cyl,so they will not insure it..any suggestions?

Thats why you dont tell them about it. And yes, at least 50,000+ people have done it. Not too hard to do, just requires a a bunch of time, $$$ and parts, but its worth it in the end.

Yea most people don't tell them, so they keep the car insured as a 4-banger.

However, if you get into a crash, you will be paid for it like it was a 4-banger as well
