Posted by: badass98svt hmmmmmm...i'll look into that for ya. Posted by: 04redgt preciate that, Posted by: Cody1774 find anything yet? Do you have a preference on brands? Posted by: Cody1774 Here are some BBK headers. http://www.partsandaccessories.com/a...4&brandid=1465 Looks like only Shorty headers will fit the Auto. I recommend Long Tube, so I will check some other brands and see if I can find something for the Auto. Posted by: Cody1774 Here is a link to MAC Long tube headers. http://www.macperformance.com/store/...ategory_ID=799 It doesn't have any warnings re: fitting on Autos. I would recommend calling their Toll free number and see if there is someone who can advise you on that Posted by: bullitt5177 I'm not positive, but I think the auto trannies are larger than the manuals on our cars. And if that's the case, I can almost guarantee that those MAC LTs won't fit. I have them on my car, and it's almost impossible to loosen them or remove them, even with the tranny out, and I have a five speed. Posted by: Cody1774 Quote:
Posted by: bullitt5177 I would assume, but honestly, I'm not sure. I can't even fit my hand through on either side of my headers. Posted by: Cody1774 How were they to install? I am thinking of getting some LTs and a H-Pipe here soon. Posted by: bullitt5177 I didn't install them, but I did change my clutch with them, which required removing the passenger side header. It's not an easy job. It requires dropping the k member to even get to the top bolts. I'd say get them professionally installed. Believe me, if you have the cash, it's worth it. H-pipes are very easy if you don't count all the stuck bolts/oxygen sensors. Do yourself a favor and put some anti-seize on all the bolts and sensors as you go along. Even with the difficulty of the LTs, I would definitely recommend them. They sound awesome, and add power. And the h-pipe's a no-brainer. That's definitely awesome. Posted by: Cody1774 Quote:
Posted by: bullitt5177 True. I keep forgetting about that. Good luck man!! Posted by: Cody1774 How could it possible take more then a day to get back to me on prices!? 04redgt, you find anything out on your headers? Posted by: bullitt5177 Call them again. They should just type it up, and tell you right on the phone. No reason to wait. Posted by: Cody1774 All he has to do is call his supplier, shouldnt take 48hrs. I'll go down and pay him a visit tomorrow and tell him that I am thinking of taking all our companies' business elsewhere, that'll speed him up! Posted by: Cody1774 still no word. It's been a week now. I am going to call them as sson as they open this morning!
