would a 88 LX tail light assembly swap in to an early fox body cuz i don't like my stock ones and the don't work

I have no idea if they'll fit, but if you're taillights don't work, it's probably a wiring issue. I'd figure that out first, because if you put new taillights in there, you're just gonna be pissed when they dont work.

no the wireing is fine cuz i wnet and checked for power back there but its in the conectors and there isn't a whole lot of stuff out for early fox's

when reinstalling you tail light assembly be sure that the doubler connector doesn't interefere with the other wires or structure.. new tail lights for your fox abound at partsdeal

i believe the taillight panel MAY be different.,... i wanna say they updated it either 81 or 82... i cant remember exactly but i dont think itll work. you can replace the whole tailight panel if you wanna go the extra mile

After some research I found..."The taillight panel, socket placememt, stud locations, and wiring is very different. You must cut and drill holes in the taillight panel and change the wiring."
The drilling part doesn't sound very hard, but I'm not sure about the wiring. You probably just plug in a 87-93 taillight harness
