A New Track Challenge At Texas World Speedway

Sports And Touring CAr Racing (SATCAR) is hosting a track event at Texas World Speedway on June 24-25. SATCAR offers a unique form of road racing that uses the driving school/open-tracking format to provide safety. This allows drivers to compete in their street cars. Then we add a timing and scoring system that is handicap based to provide fairness for all drivers (Think bracket racing on a road racing course).

Any track worthy car can be entered, and can WIN, if driven well. Drivers must have two days of performance driving school (Or equivalent experience) to qualify for a SATCAR competition license.

We will be using the 2.9 mile road racing course at TWS.
