Head Gasket... push rods???

First time pulling the heads (89 5.0) and I have a question: I see that I don't have to remove the rockers (after market rollers) to pull the head to replace the gasket, but... am I OK trying to replace the head and getting the pushrods to seat properly on the rockers. OR, do I have to remove the rockers and drop the pushrods in than replace the rockers.

Hope that makes sense.

And, what are the torque specs on the head bolts.

Just remove the rocker arms. Easy to do, just make sure you keep them in order. Plus, those pushrods are fairly thin, so why risk bending them?
