brake squeel

anyone have a 2003 cobra with front brake squeeling issues, or cobra r brake kit?

Are the brake pad low? did you install new brake pads recently? Or sometimes if you get the cheaper pads they sometimes tend to squeal........like a pig....

Take em apart and regrease the caliper slide points

did all that. the only thing i didnt do when i installed is the anti squeel on the back sides of the pads. even when im not on the brakes it squeeks like the rotors are out a little, but there brand new. is it possible that i didnt seat pads and rotors properly?

Anti-squeal is probably the cause. If everything else is new, that would be it.

where did you get your rotors from?

You can't put anti-squeal on the backside of the pads. The pads clip into the pistons and caliper. You can only lube the contact points and slide pin on the Cobra style calipers.

WHat type of pads and rotors are you running?
