i was considering getting msd coil packs and the ignition box..what does it really offer the car as far as performance and gas consumption?

Posted by: kontroldkhaos

got the coil packs and plugs and plug wires..cant figure out which ignition box to go with..im thinking the msd 6al 6420..is it compatible with the 97 gt or should i look at something else

why did you buy new coil packs? were yours malfunctioning?
MSD's coil packs are known for giving people problems down the road. the stockers are BUILT FORD TOUGH

no mine are fine i just wanted to get high performance ones,,,maybe i should send them back and get accel..

Posted by: badass98svt

there is no such thing as "high performance" coil packs for our cars. other than www.performancedistributors.com

just put the stockers back on. They are perfectly fine. you will gain nothing from msd or accel packs
