Straight Shot vs Fender CAI?

Who is running what?

I have the inside the fender CAI in a 2000 3.8L Coupe and I am wondering if the straight shot is any different performance wise.

I just got another 2000 3.8L Coupe that I want to play with.

Thanks in advance!!

Basically the same really. The straight shot is better if you drive in a place where you don't stop too often and you are usually moving 10-15MPH.

A fenderwell would be better if you find yourself in traffic mainly as the lack of moving air will begin to heatsoak the engine compartment.

Stay away from metal CAIs...get one make from plastic which will resist heat soak more.

I'm running the BBK CAI that is ran inside the fender rather than a straight shot system.
