2.3 rear end

Does the 2.3 fox have a 8.8 inch rear end? If not what does it have and how hard is it to switch?

It is a 7.5 and the 8.8 bolts right in.

I dont think so, but I guess you can check out several online stores for such replacement. Partstrain is one of the stores you can ask.

8.8 will bolt right in but you'll halve to weld or bolt up quad shock mounts to the framerail or run without them. Brake line setup should be the same

Depends on the year if I recall right.. Lait 80s at some time they put 8.8s in all mustangs If I recall..

86+ V8

99+ have a wider housing not suitable for 86-98's

all the 4cyls had 7.5 until 86 the gts and cobras the svo and i think the turbo coupe had an 8.8

SVO had a 7.5

i though SVO had an 8.8 with 4.10 from factory a guy here in wichita has the factory set up liekthat on it
