My Weber Racing experience

You may have read somewhere on the board about my building a 331 stroker and having dealt with Weber Racing. Though I did have a few issues with that experience there certainly is another side of the coin that needs clarifying and I probably did not stress it enough in that post.

First, I had them deck and bore and hone the block. They have a CNC mill dedicated for this work and all the machining was impeccable. One cylinder also needed sleeving and that was also wonderful.

Whenever an issue arrose it was handled right away. Brian was sure to see that things were made right as quickly as possible. Their customer service was great. I know there are others here that have had shops basically tell them they were on their own when there was a problem. Weber Racing took care of all issues as quickly as possible.

It is probably because of the work I do for a living that any error seems amplified. I machine things daily, living in a world of one one-thousandth of an inch or less and making a .003" mistake can mean starting all over again. The concerns I had may have seemed like common human error to most people. No one is perfect, myself included. At least you can know if something isn't right Weber Racing will make it right as quickly as possible.

I just wanted to be sure that Weber Racing did not sound like a poor business establishment. You won't get jerked around there and you will receive top customer service. This is perhaps the reason they have been in business for almost 40 years.

Steve
