Well, i bought this alternator cover for "99 - '04 2v motor. What i didn't realize is that 2v motor means a 4.6 16 valve . So, now i have to return it. Problem is, i got it from Mustang tuning and i can't reach them by phone. It gives a funny busy signal. I emailed them, and so far no response. Anybody know if they will RMA it for me? I paid $34.99 for it.

Wouldn't an alternator cover decrease the cooling ability of the alt and thus overheat and kill it faster? When did you last email them?

More than likely the sale will be final. They're not to liked around the Mustang community plus they don't have a warehouse, they are a mail order company I believe.

It just goes over the top of it, not where the fan is. Anyways they don't make them for the V6, so i either get a chrome one or suffer with the ugly looking existing one.
