Aluminum sign for my truck (shows)

I mentioned once before that I had machined an aluminum sign for my truck that I take to shows. It is a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum diamond plate that I found in the scrap hopper at work. I machined flat pockets into it and then machine all the description of the truck into it. I am pretty proud of it, it is the only one like it in the world.

Here's the link to the gallery. I'll post a closer picture. The way the letters are machined doesn't show real well in this pic. Yes, the lettering is the same color as the truck.

thats a show truck...looks nice but i dont think its show material but thats just me i love that mustang!

Matches the truck perfectly! I've seen almost every sign their is, but yet I have never seen something done like that! Great job!

Its my daily driver. In 2003 I entered it at the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle PA. I got second place. First place was a dedicated show truck that only gets uncovered and removed from the garage to drive it to a show. I think second place in my truck that I drive everyday among the other show trucks was pretty good.

And you know how pictures are, its always better in person.

Thanks Rick. That's what I wanted, something different from everyone else. I've seen plenty of real nice signs, and I could have got any of those, but then my truck wouldn't stick out.

Ok, finally got a chance to take pics in the sun with it. There is a close-up so you can see just how the letters are machined. Otherwise it doesn't show up real well in an overall picture, but when you are right in front of it you can tell.
