Wheel sizes 96 G.T

Would like to know if it possible to run 15" Cragar or Weld type wheel with no problem, How far up in tire size or biggest tire be it 15, 16, or 17", and is a new exhaust system H-pipe with cats and new cat back with cold air worth it. I am new to this with the newer cars such as this G.T. Just bought it this fall with very little seat time. Any and all help will be appreciated.

you could easily run up to 18".
Exhaust-YES
Cold air-YES
GEARS- HELL YEA! 3.73's or 4.10's!!

Yep, you most definitely can run 15's on the rear of a 96. I'd recommend 4.10s, and a nice JLT cold air, and exhaust is just plain necessary in my opinion. "If it's too loud, you're too old!!"

Thanks for info. Would the 15" Weld or Cragar work on the front? Or would I be better off to buy a wheel and tire package?

Yep, all 94-04 Mustangs have the same backspacing, bolt pattern, and offset. You'll be all set!!

are you sure they are 9 inches wide? a 245 tire is awfully narrow for a 9" wheel.

Badass98svt, Add was passed on to me by friend, Mustang Bullet wheels, 245zr45 17x9 Eagle G.T.s. He has not called or answered my e-mail yet. Have you or anyone else done any business with Mr. Body Kit? They list a 16x8 Silver bullet wheel that does not look to bad.They are the only place I have seen with this wheel. Thanks for everyones help.
