I currently have a 99' mustang stock stick, my friend has a 2000 cobra, how much work will it be for an engine swuap? Is it to much work? Thanks! Isaias4u2nv! Posted by: Mustang5L5 A 2000 Cobra? They don't exist. Assuming you meant a 99 or '01 Cobra, it would be an easy swap the Transmissions are the same so you only need the engine. You could also take the IRS and the Cobra brakes too. Lots of potential there. You'd need to swap the engine and cmputer. Not sure about the harness Posted by: NiceFoxBody i didnt think 99-01 cobras had the IRS? but i have been known to be very VERY wrong
Posted by: badass98svt 99+ cobras have irs to swap the motor you'll need... motor harness ecu gauge cluster reprogram your keys and keyfob Posted by: Isaias4u2nv sorry people should have specified I drive a 99' V6! does that still make a diference? Posted by: Mustang5L5 Yup, because now you'll need to swap the k-member and transmission.
