i plan on painting it white with frost blue pearl here this spring to early summer...

I personally like the purple paint! looks cool! dont see too many, and its dark enough that it retains its masculinity

I love the color. If I were repainting it, I'd give it what you suggested or pearl white.

if the purple werent a maaco job and back bumper paint chipping then i would keep her that way and maaco jobs dont last too long... and the car came with ford white ppg paint with the frost blue pearl i may or may not add the blue pearl... a buddy of mine is going to paint it for me hes a certified auto body and paint tech. hes doing it for free since i do all the engine work on his car...

Ah... that explains everything. I know what you mean by the $200 Maaco paint job. I'll never again get a car painted their!

yep cheap isnt always better especially when it comes to paint the car was an original white car why they painted it another color is beyond me and if you do choose to paint a car different color dont go maaco..

ill keep everyone updated on the progress.. thanks

also im looking for interior preferebly gray the car is tan at the moment and has some issues . unless someone has tan interior parts that i need...

I'd stick with grey or black interior. Tan doesn't go with purple at all and I'm sure it won't look that good on white. Tan is more black, silver, or red cars.
