We would be delighted if you could add that amazing machine into our gallery with perhaps a list of modifications: http://www.muscle-mustangs.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?

Great list and great looking ride. I'm green with envy. You really know how to make a guy feel bad.
Makes me want to start web-surfing for a beater to restore just like it. (Since I can never afford one as sweet as yours.)
Truly remarkable. I can't imagine better photo's than the ones you already have. Don't share them or I'll be in tears. Good thing you fuzzed out the tag or the hijack crew would already be in your driveway. (I'm just kidding but you were smart to do that.)
Welcome, we needed another older contributer to off-set and help out the younguns.

I doubt I can help them ,most drive new ones with computer everything! I have a 2003 Marauder and the only thing I do under the hood of that is check the oil.Now on the other hand,I think I can remove and reinstall the Boss engine blindfolded.Working on it is like going into another time zone, when I bought the Boss in 1969 there were Muscle cars everywhere! What a great time to be alive. I am just glad to see some new respectable iron out there, the 2005 Mustang is great,I just hope Ford has the b_lls to give future Mustangs even more power. They should have built the Boss 429 the way I did back in 69!

I've been referring to those in our age bracket and knowledge as "Grey Tech". It's pretty self explanatory.
I really love your car and how you've built the engine. It's really nice to be able to see vintage performance like that with a few modern reliability pieces added. I know what you mean about the newer cars. I am a little bit younger than you so I was at the right age in the "transition" years. I worked on my 68 Charger at home, then worked on computerized cars at work. I much preferred my 68. I still prefer the vintage stuff.
The purple Mustang in my signature is my wife's 66. I built a 331 stroker for it. The blue car is my Australian Ford XB Falcon. It's got an Aussie 351 Cleveland that I will be rebuilding. It has the closed chambered 2V heads.
Check out this topic for a walk down memory lane with Grey Tech. Scroll down to the memories.

You can get an idea what the "older" crowd here is like. We are a minority here but that also makes for some fun.
It's rare to find someone that is the original owner of one of these cars. Most of the time the cars did not keep the stigma that they have now and that was the reason for selling them. How is it that you kept this car the whole time?

I guess I figure the car didn"t owe me anything,I bought it,I used it,it was paid for,so why not hang on to it! I wish I had most of the cars I ever owned, but this was my first new car and I owed it! I am glad I kept it. Working on it is a trip down memory lane, driving it is the ultimate fast lane!

Welcome to the site. I am in awe of your ride. It's drop dead gorgeous. I bet it sounds fantastic.
I'm with you and Steve, I would prefer to work on my muscle car than my mod motor monster. My ride is a 99 GT with few mods which I have done myself, but my baby is our 1968 Superbee. I also have a 1968 Dart GTS 4spd car (it's in resto mode right now). The Superbee is getting new life breathed into it as we speak. The hubby and I are building a new 383 stroker for it, nice 440 crank with .60 over pistons from diamond, manley valves. The block is out for machining and the crank is being ground down for the 383 block. Still undecided on the rods and cam, but will have those figured out by the time the block comes back from the shop.
Been kicking around the idea of heading out to Carlisle this year...now I just might have to do it to see your car in person.
