My car was started without any intake system or filter

It was started and ran for about a minute. Should I have any concers? This was not my doings lol

Cool, I was only concerned because I was afraid air particles might have made a trip inside the engine. I turned my back and my dad started the car. I was like what the hell because the engine sounded kind of Raspy above the exhaust note.

I do it all the time. I've even made a few drag strip passes in the 5.0 with it off.

Speed density so i didn't even need the MAF

I used to take my Firebird for beat runs around the neighborhood with no air filter, just the carb suckin down 650cfm of unfiltered air and 93 :-) Dont think its a huge problem unless your running it for a long time or driving far....

I wouldn't do drive down a dusty road with it off though
