Hey everyone! Just joined up... and having a look around. I have an 01 V6..but looking for a mach1 within my price range. I have a love of the mustang! Also learning to ride the bike I bought. 05' suzuki sv650s.

I really love my car..even tho she is very under powered. I am having a hard time... "wanting" to sell her... as she is my first. But.... I gotta have me some more speed.

I ll take some more pics.... there is a local All mustang All ford car show locally in two weeks. I ll post pics from there when I go!

Personally I think your car looks much better than a Mach1. If you modify a Mach1 I believe it will go down in book value unlike that if you modify a V6. Have you thought about swaping engines or perhaps a Vortech Supercharger?

... I ve thought about mod'in the car. I would..if I felt I could do it...by myself. Only engine I ve ever done...is a 2.2 turbo from and 2.5 non turbo in my 89 daytona. That is a much different deal. I am still toying with the idea...of swapping. What kind of hp/toque would I end up with ... supercharging a v6?

I want to get as many opinions as possible..... I ve heard different things..from many people... Still ponding. It would be sweet to come across a wrecked 4.6... that is still runable..and swap...definately. It would be a hell of a lot cheaper

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but I think with a supercharged V6 would get you around the 250-260HP mark. It's defintely not something you would want to tackle yourself.

That's what I am in the middle of doing as of right now. This spring/summer I'm going to get my engine all cleaned/shined up with a lot of polished/chome pieces. Later down the road I plan on rebuilding the internals of the engine and adding a Vortech that will put my 1995 V6 up to around the 215-220+HP mark. Then keep building it up from their. Swaping for a V8 would be nice, but to me their would just be to much work involved with upgrading everything else on the car before you can actually even drop the V8 in.

AHHHH! FINALLY! Another person from Pensacola on a Mustang forum. I don't think I have ever seen your car running around town but I will keep an eye out for it now. Are you gonna be at the Mustang show at University Mall this weekend?
