wife got 99 v 6 ..i got her the pace setter daul kit conversion..ok i just ordered cat back from jegs the jegs brand ..my wife heard flows..before and dint like how they sounded ..the jegs have stock type turbo muffler hopen to sound good for her ...i know people have diff opions of sounds..any one here got stock type turbos on there v6??

I'll try and upload a video of my friends 96 V6 with duals and flowmasters....it actually sounds pretty sweet!

ok my wife heard one at the bank ..girl said it was flows ..were like 40 ..so she dont want to sound werid ....

I have dual flowmaters on my 1995 V6. Honestly, I love the sound. It creates a nice deap rumble when starting it up and at low RPM. You can hear it nicely on the highway while giving it gas. The only time you can't hear it is when you have your not giving it any gas going highways speeds. The only thing that sucks about my flowmasters is that it came with 2.25" tailpipes. I plan on upgrading to 3" sometime this year.

I got flows and I love them. Haven't heard any other setups in person so I couldn't help out on this one.

Yeah, if she wants any deaper sound than flowmasters she's going to have to upgrade to a V8

Another vote for flows. I've seen this kid's car in person, and it sounds real nice for a sixer.

I have dual Flowmasters and I ve had several people ask me.... and say "are you sure thats not a GT?" ... I sorta laugh..and say... I wish

... I think they have a pretty sweet sound.

I get that a lot too. That's the main reason I put a 3.8 badge on the back lol. Everyone thinks it's a GT due to the looks and the sound until I'm around the guys in the club. Then you can't even hear mine lol.

you need to be caqrfeul with what mufflers are chosen for a v6... it can sound very bad very easily.

^^ My car has true dual 40 series flowmaster exhuats. Its the best V6 set up ive heard, all ive had is compliments. Nobody saying it doesnt sound good, most ask if its a V8.....flowmaster is the way to go

So their is no difference in sound with the Jegs cat backs compared to stock

It must be the type of muffler she put on if it just has a little rumble. My V6 with flomasters are loud enough to wake up all my neighbors if I started the car early in the morning lol.

may i mention spintech?... THe prostreets are Really deep, better then any flows set up i've heard... I have the Side Exhaust and will be gettin headers this summer sometime, but it already sounds really deep, and once the car warms up and settles out you get a really great sound.

Almost all the guyz that have had flows that have listened to my car in person have said they wished they had my set up if that backs my case up ne...
