I don't think you can get decimals on a license plate. You'd probably have to do dashes if you want to use the engine size -- unless you go with the cubic inch size: 281 --> "281GT"

i agree with rick ^.... I like 2003GT or 2003 GT, short, simple, the ricers know not to mess, and will look good on the car. SOHC281 is like, huh? whats that? or why would you have that?... even if someone knew what it meant. It would just look weird, try to picture it.

I had one a few years back on my 98', it read " IBPASNU " took people some time to figure that out, I thought it was rather creative. Unfortunately caught some police attention, so it didnt hold up to its name.

I have a sunburst gold 2000 GT and when I moved up here to Vermont this past summer I got GOLDRSH for my vanity plates. I was skeptical about how the "green" Vermont plates were going to look on my gold Stang but the more I look at it the more I like the green on gold.

I think the 2003GT works.. as for the "281" reference is still get tons of questions on my car when people see my plate... "MY-S281"

I am always asked what the 281 stands for....lol..

I can relate: I have "281 V8" printed on my hoodscoop. After I answer that THEN they ask what "langod" on my license plate means...
