Steve Posted by: dblcola I'm going right now and find one. I've always been told " its cheaper to sell your 6 cylinder and buy a v8 rather than convert". It will be interesting to see what this article has to say. thanks for the heads up. Posted by: Aussie XAXB If you have a car that is in good shape you area taking a chance that you will find another in the same shape at a price you can afford just to get one with an 8. Where I come from (the past, LOL) it was an automatic thing to yank a 6 and drop in an 8. It's no biggie. With the Mustang you will need more than on a bigger car because of the difference in weight of the vehicles, but there is so much available for the Mustang. I just got a set of Granada spindles with caliper brackets and dust shields off of ebay to do the disc brake conversion. When I get new flex lines, proportioning valve, and rotors and calipers it will still be a lot cheaper than any of the kits on the market. Steve Posted by: dblcola Hey I'm going to give it a shot. Just bought an 8 that is complete but very bad body rot. I'm going try the conversion. They are both 67 coupes.
