289 Fuel pump mystery

Hi,

I'm in London and have a 66 Fastback 289 Auto which needs a new fuel pump. I ordered the Carter M6588, which is the part # specified for the 289, but upon removing the old one, it seems a different (and as yet unidentifiable) model was being used (see photo):

Does anybody have any idea what part number I may need? Parts suppliers over here in the UK are drawing a blank.

Most likely the pumps are merely two different generations that will work on any 289/302 engine. If it is what was specified I would not worry about it.
