Posted by: Rick Sample I honestly don't think that you'll notice any more gain in power from one brand to another. They both basically function the same. As for sound, I have never heard a bassani exhaust on any Mustang. My flowmasters sound great and I wouldn't change them for anyone! Posted by: Xerxeese Here, try this site out http://www.mustangexhaust.com/ You do have to sign up, its free, and there are video and wav files of different exhaust clips. I know there is another, I will see what I can find for ya. Posted by: Xerxeese Found the other.. http://3.8mustang.com/multimedia/ Posted by: kissajew86 rick is right you wont get much power diffrence on exhaust. it isnt that much of a gain in the fist place. get exhaust for sound not power! Posted by: ExBamaGal Yup, it all depends on what kind of sound you want and how much you want to spend. I also have the flows and love them. I'll try to get a sound clip when this wind stops blowing so bad. Posted by: Jimbo_Jack awsome now lets talk about prices lol how much are the flows compared to the bassani? Posted by: ExBamaGal I got everything installed for $375. I don't know how much bassani would be. Best thing to do is to check with your local muffler shop and get a quote from them. Posted by: Rick Sample I've always heard that bassani is always more. At least for the entire cat-back system. My cousins just put a bassani exhaust on their LT1 Camaro, it was almost $700, but thats a totally different make/model. I could be wrong, I dunno! I paid around what Tiffany paid for hers although I forget the exact price. Posted by: Jimbo_Jack do you guys have the cat backs? and are they loud? Posted by: Rick Sample Quote:
Posted by: kissajew86 my borla's were 550 installed, borla is suppose to be one of th most expensive...but it wasnt a kit system, it was fabbed at the muffler shop... Posted by: Jimbo_Jack ok well looks like im talkin to the muffler shop! lol. but who knows i might buy me a amp for my sterio Posted by: Rick Sample Although a system would be louder than an exhaust would ever be, I just don't get the guys who roll around town with their sterio up all the way! ![]() Exhaust > AMP Posted by: Jimbo_Jack lol well music is basically my life but the amp is only 150 and the exhaust is alot more! so you know ill prolly go with the exhaust lol Posted by: Mustang5L5 But the stereo can be transfered to the Cobra while you won't get a cent back on the exhaust when you sell your V6 Posted by: Jimbo_Jack who knows i might just have to keep the v6 and get the cobra because my mom might be buying an 05-06 mustang and if she does then i dont think shell give me a cobra shell just give me the 05-06 who know? ill see when i get paid and what the exhaust shop says Posted by: Rick Sample Quote:
True, didn't think of this Posted by: Jimbo_Jack yeah but who knows i'm thinkin rims. But i can never tell what im gonna do none of the muffler shops where open Posted by: Mustang5L5 So do rims, if you do 17" or 18" you can take them off and put them on the cobra later Posted by: Rick Sample Yes decisions decisions! From personal experience I know that it's freakin tough deciding what would look best on your car! I've had some pretty major headaches from my car in the past! Posted by: Jimbo_Jack lol this is harsh i dont like all the hard decisions Ford Mustang Archive Home | General Tech | 5.0 Mustang Tech | 4.6 Mustang Tech | 3.8 Mustang Tech | 2.3 Mustang Tech | Classic Mustang Tech | Appearance and Sound | Virtual Body Shop | Initiation | The Lounge | The Showroom | Site Suggestions | Mustang Talk | 2005 Ford Mustang | Ford Lightning | Racers Bench | For Sale | Wanted To Buy | Northeast | SouthEast | Central | MidWest | West Coast | NEBOC
