I got a few friends with custom cars and they think it would be great. By next year, My stang will be about 90% finished, so having a cool custom car, being a president of a club, and an admin for this site will be pretty cool.
Posted by: Tracy (OH) My Mustang rolls through NE Ohio also. Let me know if there is going to be a club! Was thinking about getting one started here, as there have been many stangs spotted in vacinity. Posted by: Rick Sample Quote:
What kind of mustang do you have?? Maybe I have seen it, I live up here in Rittman!

Have you gone to any of those "Pop's Cruise-In car shows"? He has about a dozen each year and this year I made most of them. Pretty good size trophies as well, I think he has around 35 3-4 Foot trophies! His shows are pretty much over this year. You should attend some of his next year, I'd like to see your car up their. Its nice to see some newer Mustangs rather than all these old ones Posted by: Aussie XAXB Well, we take my wife's "older" Mustang to shows. Didn't hit any this year as I was working on the drivetrain and didn't have all the time I needed. Should be good to go in the spring though! We are not interested in clubs but always interested in shows. We are in North Olmsted Ohio. There's plenty of regular cruises within 25 miles of here. Steve Posted by: vnamus Hey Aussie...where do you usually go? I know there are regular car shows at Quaker Steak but do you go to any all-Mustang shows? Posted by: Rick Sample Quote:
Posted by: Aussie XAXB Usually we go to cruises. There is one at Big Lots in Elyria on Friday nights, of course Quaker Steak in Sheffield, Brunswick at Laural Plaza, not sure what night, and also Avon Lake Commons. They moved the cruise to Sunday nights I think from Wednesdays. You can check out local cruise sites by going to the Cruising Times website. If you never heard of them it is a predominantly local (NE Ohio) cruising monthly magazine. Their websites list all kinds of cruises and the dates/times. Last year we took her car to the All Ford Nationals in Carlisle and got third place. We were real happy with that because the engine hadn't been done yet and the car didn't even have a headliner! But it rained the day of judging and everyone had their hoods closed so that helped level the playing field. We also went to a Mustang show in Sharon Pa where the original Quaker Steak is at. It was put on by the Mahoning Valley Mustangs division of the MCA. I won't go to one of those again. Even though we were in the "Modified" catagory we got demerits in scoring for things like not having the "correct" trunk liner. Give me a break, I busted my butt with every waking moment I had to get it ready for shows based on things you see when the car is driving around or parked! Besides, I'll be doing something custom with the trunk. I added finished pics of the engine compartment in that car in the thread for her car in the Showroom section. Steve Posted by: Rick Sample You guys are should let me know when you hear of any big all ford shows or all mustang shows around Ohio in 2006. I wouldn't mind meating some of our members Posted by: Aussie XAXB Looking forward to seeing pics of your car when it's done. Don't want to have to wait until next year! Steve Posted by: vnamus The only all-Mustang show I know about is at Annabelle's in Mentor every second Tuesday of the month. Yeah, I agree with Rick. It would be nice to meet people from the formum and put faces and cars with names. I will check out the cruise website...thanks for the info Aussie! I would definitely go to the one in Elyria. Thats about a 45 minute drive, not bad. My mom lives in Elyria and I grew up in Lorain so I know that area pretty well. Small world, huh? Posted by: Aussie XAXB It gets smaller by the minute, lol. Steve Posted by: Rick Sample Any of you guys going to Summit Racings car show in June? Its our 1st show of the season next year, they usually have it the 1st Saterday from 8-5 I think. Last year they had over 1,000 cars!
