It was funny as he!!. First I did a one tire fire burn out, then when past the staging gate. The guy had to tell me to come back. Then finally after staging, the light started dropping. Instead of anticipating the light I was so nervous and at the same time ecited to be there, I was late of the line. I was so late that I had enough time to watch the light go green, watch the guy red light and then look back forward and realize I was still at the light. I guess I forgot I was racing. The next two runs were better. LOL. That was funny. AS far as time, it sucked. My three runs were 16.145, 16.24 and 16.14 . I was pissed and hoped it would get a better time. I only have the duals and the CAI. I guessd that why. I need to hurry up and install the tlock, 410’s, chip and UDP. That should make a world of an difference. Any suggestions. It was funny though. Now I just have to get it together. Posted by: kissajew86 what year v6 do you have? is it an auto or a 5 speed? what was your 60' times? the 60' time really tells you everything on how you launched, it should be like 2.0 or so Posted by: 6shooter It is a 2003 Auto. The 60' time was I think 2.6 give or take a few. Quote:
Posted by: kissajew86 oh yeah u can cut down that 60' time, were u holdong the break and the gas to get a hard launch? Posted by: 6shooter Yes I was was holding it down. I thought I would get a better launch that way. Quote:
Posted by: kissajew86 yeah u should be able to get a good launch that way, what rpm's were u launching at? what kind of tires do you have? Posted by: 6shooter RPM wise I am not sure. But I have the stock tires that come with it. I believe 225 16. I need to get some more. I am looking to buy a good set of 17's or GTrims or even some 18's. Or if they will work some Drag radials. Posted by: BigDogMustang heres another thing that you might want not to do. is dont do a burn out everytime you go to stage, and keep normal air pressure in your tires. since your running stock street radials, those tricks wont help much. or at least i got better time when i ran my stock v6. also you should do the gas pedal adjustment it takes the slack out of you throttle cable so you get faster response times Posted by: 6shooter How do you adjust the gas pedal? I thought about not doing the burn out. But I wanted to show off. LOLOLOLOL Quote:
