New turbo I heard off?

MY friend was telling me about New turbo he heard about....

Here it goes he told me you putt a turbo hooked on your Exhaust and he said that gave you great performance and said that kit for this is for $5000.00!!!

Sorry if I'm a NOOB butt just wodering!

turbos arent new.....all are hooked to your exhaust.....

turbos give great preformance....
my turbo was less than 5k

and yes you are a noob

I think he may be talking about that turbo from ?Spintech?, the one that mounts under the rear of your car. the one that doesn't need an intercooler because it has like a mile of piping to get from the front to the rear and back to the front.

they currently dont have a remoter mount turbo for the mustang because of the lack of space twards the back of the car....they have one for the camero....

they are ok, has its benifits and downsides.....wouldnt mind seeing one on a mustang

Although, it does not say if it is for v8 or v6 applications... it DOES solve the remote location issue.

it dosent solve the remote issues though...they would still exist. if the kit was properly engeneered though you wouldnt have them.....

looking at the pic, it shows a 99+ stang, yet states its for pre99.. hmmm
What would be interesting would be the ability to use long tube headers to a y-pipe to a single exhaust to that turbo, retain the single exhaust to the back to keep the stock V6 look.. talk about a sleeper.

ya it would be sleeper but i doubt that long tube headers would help....the length of the header effects the resonance of the shock wave. since the hot side of the turbo is under constant pressure the benifits would probably be minimal
