Car Keyed

Okay, some jacka** keyed my car the other night. I'm really getting pissed with these people. They have keyed my Pontiac all to hell to. Now, i'm in a dilemma. I'm thinking of having my whole stang repainted. The color right now is, Atlantic Blue Metallic. I'm either having it repainted that color or i'm thinking of red. So, what do you guys think? Red or Blue?
Oh, yes, in case your wondering my job makes for a lot of enemies. It's just sad that people don't respect other peoples property. Also, i'm worried they will key it again after i have it repainted.

What do you do for work, if you dont mind me asking.

As for red vs blue (Matrix anyone?) I think It would depend on the shades of each. I think a burgandy or candy red would look fantastic. But a straight up "fire engine" red would seem unoriginal. However, it is your car, and will look beautiful in any color (except plaid).

Seriously, though, dont be worried about what others think -- either when it comes to your car or your job. Do what makes YOU happy.

Hell no, cops are great. Although they give us tickets (for being idiots I may add), where would we be without them? Anywho, colorwise, I say go for Competition Orange. God I love that color!! Or Performance Red. It looks orange in some light and red in others. Real nice color.

yeah comp orange is the way to go but between red and blue (cop colors haha) then i pick blue
I have nothing against cops except for the fact street racing is illegal and the hate on me!

Dang that sucks. Do you have a garage you could park them in or maybe get an alarm?

As stated above, comp orange would look great! As far as red or blue though, I'd have to say go with blue.

Man, I'm so sorry to hear that this happened. I'd kill the person who decided to do something like that to my car.

I'm with the others on the color...I like blue better than red. Get what you like best though.

By the way, I'm a dispatcher for a police department so no enemy here

Well I for one appreciate the sacrifices you make to help keep the peace. I tend to favor blue as it is my favorite color. I'm thinking if you want to go blue, go with a shade that's an eye catcher. I've always liked the rare Laguna Seca blue that is found only on the BMW M3. Here's what it looks like on a Mustang.

Well, thanks for al the support. I do keep it in the garage. It is either happening in the police parking lot or in like other parking lots when i go somewhere. What i think they are doing is like walking by and just sticking the key out and hitting the car. I have about 5 small knicks on my drivers side door also. I wouldn't dare leave it in my driveway at night. They already threw a liquor bottle through my Pontiacs back windshield. I would like to state that I'm one of the easier cops in town too. Can't imagine if i was a male and really was on a power trip. lol It just seems since i stopped going to the community center that this all started happening. I really miss working with the kids.

As for the color, i might just have them repaint it the same color. You don't see too many of the Atlantic blue color floating around.

changing colors is a little difficult, a touchup would prob be better......

i say save your money get the touch up then get a High voltage systel that shocks anyone who touches your car.....

then video tape it so you can enjoy your revenge....

and i havent banned a cop ye so your safe with me!!!

most peoples frustration is over the retarted cops....like once i was pulled over for 2 miles over the speed limit. the conversation went like this

me:"hello"
officer:"do you know why i pulled you over?"
me:"no sir"
Officer"do you know how fast you were going?"
me"67 in a 65"
offficer" OH....welll...im going to have to give you a warning for THAT"
me:"ok officer"

lmao i love police officers they never pull me over of course im only 16 but still 50 in a 35 and i also have a question for the police officers what are your views on street racing?

yeah, i mean honestly i would rather them pull me over for 2 mph over than them catch me when im doing 90 in a 30 on my bike!

yeah i got no prob with cops, i mean they're just doin their job. the only problem i have is that there are those occasional cops who just are bored and like to take you down for the little things.....im 16 and just got a stang and cops are always lookin at me.....too bad they cant catch me

I wish i had a dollar for everytime i said that and then those cops actually CAUGHT ME!!! never doubt a cop car the are a nice piece of machinery

Wow, what a great response! You guys are great. Anyways, I hardly write anybody unless they are real jerks. Oh, once in a while i will stop someone in a hot car, but thats just to check out their wheels.

I've been meaning to stop of few people that own mustangs and ask them what they are doing with their cars. The ones i've been seeing around town don't have any extras on them., not even the letters on back bumper. The nerve of some people. lol. Anyways, i have decided to wait until maybe spring to repaint my stang, Atlantic blue. I figured i would let everyone get their keying out of the way until spring. Then come spring, i'll repaint, and i will be "One hot momma"!!!!!

Yeah , maybe they will actually do something to them!

This one lady where i also work security at the college, drives her Mustang convertible all year round. Really irks me. She hasn't done anything to the car either. Makes me madder. But, i have to admit she is even older than me.

Maybe, her youthfulness is over. lol

Got the estimate of the key job. Going to be around $1000 for it. I found some more keys marks on it.

, so it jacked the price up even more. Now i just have to do battle with my insurance company about it. Course they all know me, so it might not be so hard to have them give up the money. lol. I convinced the guy to paint my whole front bumper too.

Well, lets see, hes repainting the front bumper, the drivers side door and the rear passenger side tire well. I should have him do the whole car, but that would cost me some bucks.
