68 door locking problem

ok guys and gals i need some help tryin to take off the doors panel so i can get to the locking thing in there and fix that problem. and suggestions on how to do it i have takin all of the bolts and it still wont come loose please help.

the panel is held on by clips. like a push in style. on my 67 they look kinda like a "Q" one end attaches to the panel and the protruding piece sticks into the holes in the door itself. its a bit of a pain in the @$$.

had the same problem on my 70 until i changed to screws
