Air Intake system needed.(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)Posted by: PerformanceRed Hello all, I'm new here and was wondering if someone can help me. Some idiot broke into my car and stole my aftermarket intake system (filter, MAF, IAT, etc....up to the throttle body) so I'm looking everywhere for a replacement. I would even look for a stock one if anyone has it. BTW My car is a 2000 3.8. I actually am finding out from the dealership the cost of everything but I know it will be outrageous and that's why I ask if someone knows a site or friend that is parting out a stang. Thanks all. Posted by: Rick Sample This is new, never heard of anyone stealing engine parts Sorry about the misfortune. To bad your car wasn't a 95' I have a lot of old parts that are just sitting in my garage I don't use anymore.
Posted by: PerformanceRed Yeah, well, we heard from the cops that people steal parts to sell for drugs. Now my car is unoperational and just sitting in the carport for the person to come back and steal more from it. Yeah, too bad my car wasn't a 95. I believe I can only get my MAF and IAT from a 99 or 00 Stang because in 01, they integrated the IAT into the MAF. Bah! I'm having a hard time finding it too. Posted by: kissajew86 http://stangparts.com/ they may have it Posted by: ExBamaGal I think I still have the stock parts I took of of mine down in the shop from when I got the CAI. Where are you located? Posted by: PerformanceRed Quote:
I can't drive all the way to NC. ![]() Edit: Oh yeah, any chance that will include the factory MAF and IAT? Please say "yes"! If so

EDIT: BOO! $175 is what I was quoted. Posted by: kissajew86 Quote:
Posted by: ExBamaGal Well, I don't know if mine still has it or not. Is that something you have to keep when you put on a CAI? Can't remember lol If so, then no, it doesn't come with it
Posted by: kissajew86 you keep your stock maf when you get a cai Posted by: PerformanceRed Quote:
