Here's a link with some pics passed along to me from this year's Mustang Week at Myrtle Beach, SC. I hated I couldn't go and so I guess this is probably more turturous than anything but still wanted to share. There are some very nice cars down this year. Enjoy!

Nice pics, I know a couple of the cars in those pics. 1 is Donna from here in her Silver 05 V6 with Racing Stripes and Billett Grill.

I spoke to a buddy thats down there and some guy in his 04 Cobra decided he was going to lay down some rubber last night at the mall meet and greet, and he lost control of it and smashed into 3 other cars along the way...real smart thing to do ther, and this person was not a young punk kid I was told by any means!

Hey I recognize that car too!!

I hated it for the guy in the black Cobra. I would say the car was totaled. There will be more pics. I still have to download mine but I don't have any of the wrecked car.

too much power and not enough brains it seems, some people just dont handle peer pressure to well!

we have been to the first couple yrs of MW, and something normally goes wrong in that degree... Horsepower + Alcohol = NOT A GOOD MATCH!

Wish we could have made it out. It was definately on our schedule but a motorcycle wreck wasn't quite as planned lol.

Here is a video of the moron in the Cobra along with some pics of the car From what I hear there was a female passenger in the car with this guy. VERY fortunate that no one got hurt.

Ken is a very nice guy that made a mistake. Yes, what happened was from wanting to show off and it cost him more than any of us would want to pay. How many of you calling him names and posting these pics all over the place can say YOU have never showed off in your car infront of people? Instead of calling him names and talking bout how stupid it was, look at it as lesson learned for ALL of us who get out with a group and think it will be cool to play a little.... not only could this happen but so much more could go wrong as well. I am just thankful that no one got hurt in all of this and only hope we all learn something from it.

Yes I very much hate it for the guy as I have done plenty of things that I was not proud of behind teh wheel of cars.

I kinda blame it on the crowd that was gathered along the side of the road videoing and begging the people leaving to "light them up". They were antagonizing the burnouts. It is truly an unfortunate situation for the guy and his beautiful car.

The crowd does have a roll to play in this but it was Ken and MANY others that made the choice to do this. Maybe next year, Mike and Rodney can talk to the local PD to have one officer sit there and not only keep the crowd off the road but make people think a little harder about doing this kind of mess. I know they had posted and were even asking people not to do stuff like this over the loud speaker but not a single person, mall security, MW staff or police, ever make the crowd move away from the road and that was a mistake.

Yes a buddy of mine who was down there said that just about every car did something "illegal" when they left and that everyone was just cheering them on. I personally like to see some action although its unfortunate that such a beautiful and powerful car got destroyed, not to mention those he hit.

I completely agree with you in that most of us would show off a little in front of a crowd BUT it still wasn't a very smart move to do something like that A) when there are so many people around standing close to the road and on the road and B) when he had someone else in the car with him (from what I hear anyway). I mean come on, anyone who drives knows that there is a chance that SOMETHING could go on at any given time no matter who you are or what you drive...ESPECIALLY in a car with that much power. He may feel like shit now but how would he have felt if someone had gotten hurt or killed? I'm not saying that he isn't a nice guy and he may be a genius for all I know but no matter what anyone says it was a stupid move and it ruined a beautiful car...live and learn I guess.

I say everyone should watch the video and look at the pictures just so you know what COULD happen when you least expect it. Think about this video the next time you want to show out for a crowd

Posted by: MustangLady90GT

That is what I said before. I am just happy he nor any of the others involved were not hurt in all of this. Lesson learned for many, I hope.

did that happen at myrtle beach? man you have got to hate that

Posted by: ExBamaGal

Yes, it happened at one of the meets they had at Mustang Week as he was leaving

Posted by: KrazyPony

I am sorry but anybody that drives a car with that much power should know the consequences if you are to show out. As I understand it he is a very nice guy, but when cheered on with that many people at MW anything can take place as we can see from above. So in my eyes he is the only to blame for not being able to make a decision on his own with out being influenced by others, esp. when you have someone else in the car with you, and by looking at the pics from Tiff. I dont see how she didnt get hurt at all.
