Hey Robbie,

I also live in Kent and bought my 05 Stang from Newport Imports in Beddow Way, Aylesford, Kent ME20 7BT.01622 718 700 Ask for Shaun and tell him I sent you - he can owe me

It was quick and hassle free - the car is fantastic! The only niggles are the cruise control only works intermittantly and the CD player skips quite a lot. The performance and sound are outstanding and I'd buy it again even with the 2 niggles.

I went for LH drive but you can get conversions but it'll add £5-6K to the price!

No Way! They're for driving, I've done 7,000 miles in 4 months use it a lot and love it (to death probably).

I've only ever seen one other on the road but people are forever taking photos and congratulating me on my motor. So even in the UK the Stang is appreciated!

Lots of Mustangs in Europe actually.

Recently a relative went on vacation in Italy and saw a silver 01-04GT like mine there. Apparently Mustangs are very rare in Italy so i guess it was a big deal when he pulled up on front of some storefront and everyone had to look.

There must be a thing about Mustangs and Ford performance parts in the UK. I was watching Top Gear and they had some minor problems with their GT 500 they bought and when one of them bought the Ford GT it didn't start after the show and a bunch of small eletrical problems occurred.
Either way, I know that show is ANTI American cars!!!
Welcome to the site and enjoy your Mustang. Post some pics of it too!

Holy resurrected old threads Batman!

Yes, Jeremy Clarkson ("older" guy on Top Gear) is an anti-American SOB. He bitched and moaned about his Ford GT and basically had a huge hissy fit about it, returned it, and said he'd never buy another Ford again, etc....
A year later he bought another Ford GT.
